Bastrop County breaks ground on a new 13,640 sq. ft. building to house the Development Services and Tax Assessor Departments.The building will also partially house the Information Technology Department.

The County is utilizing the design-build delivery method – the design team includes Broaddus & Associates as the Project Manager representing Bastrop County,SpawGlass Contractors and PGAL Architects.
The County began design work in November 2012 and the Commissioners Court accepted the Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal submitted by SpawGlass Contractors on April 29, 2013. Construction is anticipated to begin on May 20th with a completion date of December 2013.
